Fine quality
20th century Scottish dining room suite,
attributed to Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh, comprised
of a dining table, eight chairs and a serving
table.
The serving table
with well figured top, sides slightly raised and
incurved, above three drawers, the center drawer
fitted with a removable cutlery tray, above paneled
cupboard doors with a decorative burl-elm panel
between, shaped apron, raised on square legs with
notched feet. The back is paneled so the table
may be free standing.
Measurements: Width 48" Depth 21" Height 33 1/2"
Together with a set of
eight dining chairs with yoke cresting
and trapezoid splat backs in well figured burl-elm,
drop-in seats upholstered in original leather,
on square legs ending in modified notched feet.

by stretcher on shaped plinth with flattened feet.
